You can only use dice to score once during a turn, until you’ve used up all six dice. After scoring with any die, it is set aside for the next roll.
On each roll, you must score something, or else you “Farkle”. You are NOT required to keep all the dice that score, that is part of the strategy of the game.
- - You need to score 1000 points to “Get on the Board.” Until you’ve scored 1000 points, none of your scores count.
- - The combination 1-2-3-4-5-6 is a straight and scores “secure” points. These points are yours to keep, even if you Farkle. It is added to your total score immediately after rolling.
- - Once anyone passes the 10,000 mark, the opposing player gets one last turn to either surpass the first player (thus winning,) or Farkle.

Love the online FARKLE, but why is it my “Secure Points” are never tallied? It will say “1000 secure points” but never add them. Of course, the computer get its points.

why are you against four of a kind?

The program has a quirk - even when you get 1-2-3-4-5-6 and it displays 1000 secure points, you STILL have to select each die you want to keep. The program never selects the dice for you.

Basic rules don’t include 4 of a kind - so this program doesn’t. Might be nice to have some optional scoring choices some day.
Have you tried Farkle on Facebook?
This is totally different from how we play it. If you get four of a kind, it doubles the amount of your score, like four fours would be eight hundred or five fours would be double that at 1600, three ones are 1000, four ones are 2000, five ones are 4000. Also the straight is 1500 points and the three pairs are 2000 points. Had a little trouble figuring out the selection process at first but find that it’s fun.
I have played Farkle on Facebook….my friends and I wonder how to play the farkle pro with one another. we sit out in the lobby but someone else always picks us up. Do you know how we could play against eachother?

the farkle on facebook is amazing and addictive and i cant find it anywhere else.

why do you have to score a certian number before you can hit done
we do not get our points like we should. the computer

The 1000 “secure points” DOES add in BUT you have to click on the 6 dice and then roll again. The 1000 points adds before your roll begins.
I’ve always played Texas Dice since i was a kid, then i found out it’s a published game called Farkle. I’m addicted.

First saw the game while at Wall Drug in SD in June … almost bought it but passed @ the last minute. Saw it was new to FB recently via friends scores showing up on my wall, searched web & found this site. Tried the game and got hooked!

Very addicting game. We like to play the facebook way…counting 4 and 5 of kinds. ex: shake three 4’s, its 400, four 4’s is 800, and five 4’s is 1200…after the first three are counted as 400 it would be an additional 400 for each 4 rolled (all in the same roll). Plus we only say it takes 300 to get on the board(game gets moving quicker) Crazy Fun, Love it!!

I am a Farkle fan SOOOOOOOOO bad!! I am seeking to find a Farkle Anonymous meeting so that I can get some help… NOT! the way we play it 3 one’s=300, and ya only need 500 to get on the board also 4 of a kind is 100 points no matter what the dots on the dice,…..5of a kind is 2000 ,3 pair is 2500,…..1-2-3-4-5-6 is 1500,…….6 of a kind is 3000, and not an automatic win

I saw this game 15 years ago from a country music singer. He was selling a mini dice version fitting in a film canaster.I loved it and in the past few years I lost the game while moving I guess. I’m so glad to see it on Facebook! Hooked again! Anyone know how I can get a free Farkle app for my Blackberry curve?

I played about 20 games tonight. ‘5′ times the computer got secure points on the first roll. I got ‘0′. The computer also got ‘1′ instant win. Me? Nothing. I’m led to believe that the game is not random. Has anyone else noticed this? I’m gonna play another 20 games and report back here.

Hmmm… I technically get on the board, but my points are never added, thus I never get on the board. The computer does.

For the rules gurus, if on the ‘final’ round, a second player exceeds the total of the first player to reach 10000 points, does the first player get another chance to beat the total of the second player??
I love this game but it does not work as good than when u play on FB because on FB it shows what you do more than how what ever dodo did that creatid this game.

On the secured points at least on mine…even after selecting the dice, once you hit roll again it doesn’t give you the 1000 points. It starts you on your next roll…But the computer can roll again and get to keep thiers

Seems everyone has their own ruleset from when they were a kid/stoned/drunk/all of the preceding.
Mine:
1: 100
5: 50
3x: 100x value except aces, 3 aces = 1000
three pair: 750 and rolling
two triplets: 1500 and rolling
1-2-3-4-5-6: 1500 and rolling
No such thing as “secure” points — if you rolled 1-2-3-4-5-6 followed by 2-2-3-4-6-6 you got NOTHING.
Once all six dice scored, you had to roll. You couldn’t stop with all six dice scoring.
i used to play this but as the game SPARKLE,
1’s =100
5’s =50
1000 pts to get on the board,
3 ones would be 300 and four 1’s would be 4000 and so on and so forth. straights are 2500 anyone who lands 6 like sided dice SPARKLES ie wins,a little bit more simplified so kids can learn it easy.lots of time spent playing that game.

The rules and scoring on this particular game are different from the official rules found in the actual dice game. I actually won by the rules listed on this site, but the game/computer didn’t recognize it. What, no balloons…no fireworks. C’mon, I WON!!

I play farkle on my palm pre and on facebook and they both count the 3, 4 and 5 of a kind the same way idk rules are different on different platforms I guess.

So, I just learned how to play Farkle on Facebook, and I just wanted to know how to get my Farklepowers. I have 13 Powerdice and i have searched like EVERY website known to man on how to get them. When I play against people, they always beat me because they have to “Powers” and I don’t. So, if you could, THE HELP IS VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!!!
